The Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy continues the activity of building partnerships with public and private actors operating on the territory to encourage and support the birth and development of high-tech companies on the national territory.
With this in mind, the Polytechnic University of Bari and I3P, the innovative business incubator of the Polytechnic University of Turin, intend to collaborate in order to develop and test new technology transfer practices, aimed at enhancing technology transfer and business incubation. The intentions of this collaboration are contained in the framework agreement, signed by the Rector of Poliba, Professor Francesco Cupertino, and the President of I3P, Professor Giuseppe Scellato.
The Poliba-I3P collaboration is aimed at providing models and tools to foster the creation and growth of entrepreneurial initiatives with high development potential and high technological content. The specific activities covered by the collaboration will be defined from time to time through the signing of special agreements. The duration of the agreement is three years and may be renewed.
Francesco Cupertino, Rector of the Polytechnic University of Bari, said: "This collaboration represents an important new tool to contribute to the development of the economy and society, in a crucial phase for the country. We have the ambition to contribute to the construction of a national network that includes universities and companies and that allows to share knowledge, skills and experiences. This is in line with the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which focuses on technology transfer and innovation to bridge territorial gaps and relaunch Italy. We are pleased to share this mission with partners who are just as interested in the future of all of us and that of the next generations".
Giuseppe Scellato, President of I3P, commented: "I3P has always been dedicated to building connections between startups, universities, industry and finance. We are proud of this new synergy with the Politecnico di Bari to strengthen a network that, from North to South, will allow the development of startups and high-tech projects.
