ELIS Innovation Hub, part of an Italian consortium of more than 130 large groups, SMEs, universities, foundations and other public and private entities, announced the launch of applications for the 10th edition of the Open Italy program, an initiative that fosters collaboration between research centers, start-ups, and scale-ups with some of the most important Italian corporations.
It is possible to apply for the Call4Solution of Open Italy until March 31, which gives to innovative companies the opportunity to develop funded Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and test their solutions in real corporate environments.
An opportunity for growth and testing
The Open Italy program allows selected start-ups to access, free of charge and equity-free, to a collaborative innovation ecosystem where ideas and technologies turn into concrete projects through the active involvement of corporate partners. Over the years, the program has successfully developed more than 200 PoCs.
Participants will benefit from:
- presenting their solutions to a corporate audience during the S-Pitch Day, on April 16 in Milan, Italy;
- connecting with companies in curated matchmaking sessions on 1-to-1 digital meetings (over 200 meetings organized in the 2024 edition);
- collaborating on real use cases, in a 12-week funded PoC project supported by ELIS Innovation Hub’s project management team;
- submitting a commercial offer at the end of the PoC, with the opportunity to scale the project.
How to apply for the Call4Solution
The Call4Solution is open to Italian research centers, start-ups, and scale-ups with innovative technological solutions ready to be tested in a corporate environment in the following verticals:
