There were 31 start-ups that won the final round of the Network of Incubators, Accelerators and Science and Technology Parks within the framework of the ninth edition of the Gaetano Marzotto Prize, Ticket to The Future. The start-ups were presented on 27 June at UniManagement in Turin, during Italian Tech Week, of which the Prize is an official partner. The young entrepreneurial realities won mentorship courses promoted by the Award's partners, for a total value of almost €1 million.

The field that registered the most entries was Life Science & Health Care, together with the ICT and IOT Tech category. But there were also projects related to the circular economy, social innovation, CleanTech and Energy, as well as those related to New Materials and FinTech. The average age of the participating teams on this occasion was 34.

At the 2019 Marzotto Prize, I3P is awarding IOOTA, an innovative start-up based in Bologna that has been working in the Internet of Things sector since 2015 and has created Jarvis, the virtual butler capable of supporting you in your everyday life and making your home smarter. In fact, with just one mobile application, you can easily monitor, control and automate different products, from different brands, without worrying about where you are.

Jarvis is a platform that connects and manages all the connected objects in your home and office, from appliances to meters, even if they are of different brands. With Jarvis Hub, the user can control different parameters of the home from anywhere: energy savings, consumption, safety of people and spaces

The Emilian start-up will begin a one-year incubation path at the Politecnico di Torino Incubator.
