GrandUP! Tech Academy, the new training course promoted by Fondazione CRC in collaboration with I3P, the Incubator of the Politecnico di Torino, is now open for innovative entrepreneurs in the province of Cuneo. The initiative is part of the GrandUP! project, which through its two branches Tech and Impact (the latter carried out in collaboration with SocialFare) aims to support the development of an innovation ecosystem, the dissemination of knowledge and the birth of new businesses.

Born in 2018 with the aim of promoting and supporting social innovation, this year the GrandUP! programme has been enriched by the technological component, thanks to the partnership with I3P, offering new paths oriented towards start-ups and Open Innovation. GrandUP! Tech addresses different types of subjects and economic actors, in order to concretely intervene at different levels and on different fronts: young talents, professionals, investors, small-medium enterprises (SMEs) and large companies, with the active involvement of local partners and stakeholders. The planned activities include periodic training sessions, scouting events and the promotion of business culture, the coaching of emerging projects and the availability of an information point in Cuneo.

The first initiative in the overall calendar of activities is the training course GrandUP! Tech Academy, which will be developed in seven meetings between December 2021 and March 2022 and will address key issues for the launch and development of a startup, combining theoretical and practical aspects through the analysis of business cases. The lectures, held by Politecnico di Torino professors and industry experts, will be accompanied by support activities of the incubator's consultants, with the aim of accompanying participants in the evolution of their business plans. The Academy will conclude with a final event in which participants will have the opportunity to present their projects to a panel of experts. The best teams will have access to a six-month pre-incubation programme provided by I3P, which includes support and advice from the incubator's mentors and tutors, as well as support in the fundraising phases, with the aim of maximising the start-up's growth.

The Academy is open both to aspiring entrepreneurs with an innovative idea to shape, and to members of already-established innovative start-ups who want to strengthen and increase their entrepreneurial skills in order to improve their offer and develop new services. To take part in the GrandUP! Tech Academy, you can apply on the official website of the initiative - https://grandup.org/tech/ - by filling in the application form by December 6, 2021. The meetings will be held in attendance by Fondazione CRC in Cuneo.
