In recent years, a much-discussed topic in the European Union, and one that has been included in the Horizon 2020 programmes, has been the creation of functioning entrepreneurial finance markets.
While until recently, these topics were restricted to a small group of industry players (such as Venture Capitalists and Business Angels), it has become increasingly evident how the development of online platforms for investment has opened the door to non-professional investors as well.
It is in this context that the Entrepreneurial Finance Summer School, a collaboration between Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Milano, fits in. A school designed for PhD and Master's students, from different fields and from all over Europe and beyond, to collaborate with the aim of focusing international research on this topic.
On Friday 27 September 2019, I3P will host the Summer School students at its premises. This will be an opportunity to get a closer look at the incubator's environment and its start-ups, but also to discuss innovation issues and the work carried out by accelerators and incubators.
