What is the secret to building a successful business project from a personal passion? How to turn skills and curiosity into a nationally recognized brand? These will be some of the topics covered in the meeting with Giano Lai and Francesca Manunta, also known as Giano & Franci, the Italian content creator couple who created and brought to success the online project “Cosa mangiamo oggi?” (“What are we eating today?”), born from their curiosity for the gastronomic world.
On December 10, 2024, at 6 PM, Giano and Franci will be guests for the last 2024 event of “Scintille” (Sparks), the series of meetings with brilliant minds and prominent personalities organized by I3P, the Incubator of Politecnico di Torino, as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
With a community of more than 750,000 followers and millions of views on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, Giano and Franci have turned their passion for food and culinary excellence into an innovative and successful business project. They will share their experience on how they built a brand from scratch, combining basic tools and know-how developed in marketing and digital media, and how they managed to grow their business while adapting to a changing environment.
The meeting will be an opportunity to explore the dynamics behind creating an entrepreneurial project that can stand out in a competitive digital environment. Giano and Franci will share their journey, which started from a simple idea and became a full-time business, explaining how they were able to leverage their skills to start and grow an innovative and sustainable business. They will talk about storytelling, brand positioning and the challenges of working in the ever-changing environment of digital communication.
“This event will offer a valuable opportunity to reflect on how creativity and determination can become levers for building one's entrepreneurial future,” said Giuseppe Scellato, President of I3P. “The story of Giano and Franci is a concrete example of how to transform personal skills into tools for success, inspiring those who wish to take new professional paths.”
Presenting the event will be Paola Mogliotti, Director of I3P, and Adriano Marconetto, Entrepreneur In Residence at the incubator. Attendance at the meeting, which will be held in Italian language, is free, subject to online registration while places are available.
