Founded in 2015 within Politecnico di Torino's Innovative Companies Incubator, Enerbrain, a Turin-based start-up developing energy saving solutions for large non-residential buildings, has closed a 2 million euros funding round. A group of investors consisting of Controlli, Iren, GELLIFY and Boost Heroes underwrote the capital increase. The aim of the round is to support the internationalisation of Enerbrain and the development of new energy efficiency patents.
Another great success for the start-up Enerbrain, which, after winning the first edition of the Iren Startup Awards in 2017 and the Innova call with CRT in the same year, the company took first place in the Digital Industry category at EIT Digital Challenge, the European competition for the best high-tech start-ups. Furthermore, on 12 April 2019, Enerbrain was proclaimed the winner of the second edition of the B Heroes acceleration programme and started the fast track of the GELLIFY gellification programme.
