Advanced EPS systems offer clean energy storage and are efficient and effective because they can produce energy anywhere with 24-hour, 7/7 power continuity, taking advantage of the high storage density inherent in hydrogen systems. Applications range from backup units for telephone operators to support services for power grids. EPS's commercial products are now installed worldwide and are used as uninterruptible power supplies. The company was listed on the Paris Stock Exchange in 2015. In 2018 Engie acquired the majority of the company.
