The NODES Ecosystem and OGR Torino, in collaboration with Feat. Ventures, present the first edition of ReAction - Acceleration Program by NODES, the acceleration program dedicated to start-ups operating in the sectors forming the Spoke 2 of NODES, "Green technologies and sustainable industries", with a focus on environmental sustainability and circular economy.
The initiative, promoted by OGR Torino in the context of OGR Tech, is realized within the NODES project, the Ecosystem of Innovation supporting the digital and ecological transition and promoting innovative and sustainable industrial models. NODES is funded by the Ministry of University and Research through the Italian “National Recovery and Resilience Plan” (PNRR), financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU (Funds M4C2 - Investment 1.5 - Grant agreement no. ECS000036).
The program will support start-ups registered in Italy and in existence for no more than 30 months prior to the date of application to the program, operating in the field of environmental sustainability and circular economy and, namely, in the following sectors: green chemistry, sustainable and renewable energy, materials science, bio-economy, water treatment, valorization of forest farming waste and by-products, sustainable construction, waste management and digital technologies for sustainability.
Selected start-ups will have the opportunity to participate in a seven-month course at OGR Tech, the innovation hub of OGR Torino and partner of the NODES Ecosystem. The program will be divided into two separate, complementary phases.
- The first phase, lasting four months, will offer mentorship, hands-on workshops and direct
support for the development and growth of the participating enterprises. This
phase will finish with a Demo Day,
giving start-ups the opportunity to
present themselves to a network of international investors.
- The second phase, lasting three months, will be dedicated to enhancing opportunities for networking and matchmaking, connecting start-ups with professionals, experts, investors and other key stakeholders, to develop and enhance their business and have access to capital.
The objective of ReAction - Acceleration Program by NODES is to support start-ups in catalyzing innovative ideas, promoting sustainable solutions and addressing current and future environmental and social challenges.
