BeonD, the innovative SME gains a new investor: UFI Filters

UFI Filters enters BeonD capital with a 24,9% in shares. The innovative SME and spin-off of Politecnico di Torino engages in sustainable mobility.

BeonD, founded in 2013 as a spin-off of Politecnico di Torino and grew up in I3P, today is an innovative SME that specializes in advanced engineering services and the development of battery packs and bms (battery management system) for the automotive, motorsport, marine sectors as well as unique applications.

BeonD announced that, through an agreement signed on December 14, UFI Filters, a leading filtration and thermal management company, has acquired 24.9% of its share capital.

This major development confirms and strengthens BeonD's position in the market for the development of new technologies for the mobility of the future. UFI Filters has always been committed to research, innovation, and partnership with the university world, and chooses open innovation, with the aim of integrating its expertise and know-how related to the world of batteries and thermal management systems for electrified vehicles.

BeonD has focused its efforts and energies on the engineering of electric and hybrid vehicles, built with innovative materials, composites, plastics and additive manufacturing.
